What’s On Site

Job Fair 2009 will be held at the Kenora Curling Club. This venue is well suited to the event with three main areas that will be used. The main exhibit area will be the ice surface, restored to its seasonal concrete surface prior to the event.

The lobby area of the Curling Club is quite large and it is here that you will find the Exhibitor Registration and Information booth as well as the Hogline Restaurant. Visitors will be encouraged to sit in designated areas in the Exhibit area in order to complete the evaluation form before you leave.  However, while you are a customer of the restaurant, you may choose to use this time to fill out the evaluation.

The spacious second floor lounge will be available solely for the use of exhibitors for rest and refreshment breaks. Exhibitors will be able to keep an eye on what is happening from the lounge as it has a wall of windows overlooking the exhibit area.

Access to the exhibit area (for drop off and pick up of display materials) is excellent. There are two man-doors and one larger overhead door that you can drive right up to.

There is ample parking on and adjacent to the Curling Club property. We do, however, encourage exhibitors to park across the road in the ball field area, leaving the closest spots for visitors.
