This event is made possible through funding from Employment Ontario and the sponsorship of The Academy for Technical Education & Vocational Training. However, staging this event would not be possible without the additional support received from businesses and organizations in our community.

  • Connect with over 1100 residents of your community.
  • Reach more than 200 representatives of 70 employers, employment support organizations and trainers
  • Promote your organization and your community support through the extensive Job Fair marketing campaign. Explore the Sponsorship options.

We are launching what will be Kenora’s largest Job Fair to date with anticipation of 1100 visitors searching over 70 businesses for information on how to jump-start their future and recharge their career.

Job Fair has a reputation of delivering a first class event featuring professional displays, exceptional advertising, diversified participation and a friendly welcoming atmosphere drawing groups from all employable age brackets. There is no better way of showcasing a business or agency to the Kenora area residents in one day than Job Fair 2009.

With continuing changes to local employment dynamics, our community must prepare for the future together. Job Fair 2009 provides an opportunity for community members, employers and agencies to interact. The focus of Job Fair is to target the local employment market and to facilitate the union of people with employment, training and skills they may not otherwise have access to. Whether visitors are looking for a new job or career, information from employment support agencies or researching skills for their “dream jobs”, everyone has a reason to come to Job Fair 2009.

With more than 70 businesses and organizations making a contribution to our community with their participation, both in terms of dollars and time, we ask other organizations to consider making a contribution of cash or in-kind services.
